Eliza at Oak Alley Plantation
On a Sunday, I picked up John, Matthew, and Eliza and we went to see plantations. I had a camera with me and I was snapping pictures along the way.
Eliza is about 8 in this photograph. She must have been very impressed with Oak Alley because she asked me if we could just camp out on the grounds that night. I explained that it was private property and that the owners might not appreciate us squatting on their land. Eliza then explained to me that the property was large and we could just hide out...that surely nobody would notice us.
